Mkwiro Teaching Experience

I have never worked with children before, so I found the idea pretty daunting.  However as soon as we went into the first classroom, I felt much more at ease.  The children were so cheerful and most of them are very eager to learn.   I really enjoyed helping them with their lessons and have found it extremely rewarding.

On the second day it made me really happy when all of the children had remembered my name and I really felt part of the class!
I have been both surprised and impressed with their progress in English and really wish I had more than a week to spend with them so that I could see them progress more.
All in all, it has been a wonderful and eye-opening experience and one that I will never forget!.  I hope that in the future I will have other similar opportunities.  One week just isn’t enough!!
